Ukulele Group Class

9-Week Course

Dates: Tuesday, February 4, 2020 - April 7, 2020 (*No Class on March 19th for March Break)

Time: 4:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.

This fun class is a great introduction to the ukulele and music. The curriculum is perfectly suited to kids ages 6-8. The curriculum contains content from the basics of the ukulele right up to playing chords, reading music and playing songs.

Class tuition includes a high-quality and durable ukulele. Our ukuleles are available in 10 different colours and can be ordered to suit student desire. Colours available are blue, brown, green, pink, red, white, orange, purple, yellow and camo.

Sign up now as this is a small class limited to 6 students to ensure each student gets proper teacher attention. Tuition is $229 (tuition includes ukulele and book) or $199 (Bring Your Own Instrument).

Beginner Guitar Group Class

9-Week Course

Dates: Thursday, February 6, 2020 - April  9, 2020 (*No Class on March 19th for March Break)

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.

This fun class is a great introduction to the guitar and music. The curriculum is perfectly suited to kids ages 9-12. The curriculum contains content from the basics of the guitar right up to playing chords, reading music and playing songs.

Class tuition includes a high-quality beginner acoustic guitar. Our guitars are available in 3/4 and full size and can be ordered to suit student needs.

RCM Theory Preparation

10-Week Course

Dates: Tuesday, February 4, 2020 - April 14 , 2020; Mock Exam on April 14, 2020 (*No Class on March 17th for March Break)

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

In this course you will learn and understand the building blocks of music and the basics of musical notation. These preparation classes will cover material from Grace Vandendool's Keyboard Theory - Basic Rudiments. Topics covered include: Pitch and Notation, Rhythm and Meter, Intervals, Scales, Chords and Harmony, Melody and composition, Form and Analysis and Musical Terms and Signs.

 

The course will end with a mock RCM exam to give students a first look at what to expect in a real exam situation. Sign up now as this is a small class limited to 8 students to ensure each student gets proper teacher attention. Tuition is $199 (tuition includes book).
